Q. "What sets Gold Coast Karaoke apart from the growing number of "K.J.s & Hosts"?"

A. We like to think of ourselves as "The Personal K.J.s".  The owners, Ray & Doreen, host every show themselves. Some karaoke services are owned by one person but hire less experienced people to host their shows. You never know who you are going to get. Our reputation is important to us so we make every show personal & treat every singer like a friend.

Q. "How often should I have karaoke in my establishment?"

A. Some places have karaoke nights once a month; others have a regular karaoke night at least once a week. Whatever you choose as to the frequency of karaoke at your establishment you should keep it consistent.  In our experience consistency in scheduling is very important. Many "Karaoke Regulars" frequent the same locations on a weekly basis.

Q. "Do you have an extensive & current song library?"

A. Yes, our song selection is one of the largest on Long Island. We have songs that range from the classics through today’s new releases. We take pride in the fact that you will always find something to sing.  If you are a regular karaoke singer and are partial to your own disc or version. We probably have the one you want.  If by chance we do not have the exact version you want, bring your own disc.  We are more than happy accommodate and play your song from your disc.

Q."Can you make me sound good?"

A. We have the experience & take the time to adjust every singer to ensure they sound the best they can. Everyone has a distinct voice and no two are alike.

Q. "If the song I choose is not in my key, can you adjust it?"

A. Yes we have the ability to alter the pitch of a song to make it more suited to your voice. We also have the ability to adjust the Tempo, Speed, Reverb, as well as Treble,  Bass, and Mid-range.

Q. "What kind of equipment do you use?"

A. We have invested time & money in professional equipment. The size and layout of the venue dictates what equipment we use. A Typical setup may include 2 - 4 speakers, a vocal monitor for the singer,various amplifiers ranging from 600-1000 watts, high quality microphones by "Sennheiser" & "Shure", and various size televisions and monitors for singers to follow the lyrics. D.J. lighting may be added for that"Rock Star" or "Nightclub" experience.

Q. "Do you have a following?"

A.  Being fans of karaoke long before becoming hosts we have compiled a mailing list of over 450 names. We frequently design and send out full color mailings complete with custom graphics announcing where and when we will be hosting a show. All the information on our website is updated regularly to better inform the public. Sometimes positive word of mouth is your best advertisement amongst "Karaoke Regulars".

Q. ”What other services do you provide?"

A. We are a full service karaoke service. We don't just show up,host a show, & leave. In addition to our vast mailing list and website,we seek out other ways to get the word out. As stated above all the information on our website is updated regularly. Details about your establishment and links to your website as well as a map to your location are all a standard part of our schedule & venue page.
During the rest of the week, we work to post your event to websites that specifically list karaoke shows on Long Island, as well as other event calendars.
We can create & display a slideshow designed specifically for your establishment on all the TVs we use in the show.Whether we use your original artwork or slides we design, information about special events, food & drink specials, and catering availability are just some of the messages we can help you display.
Personal messages to that someone special, Birthday or Anniversary announcements and photographs are just some of the items we can do.
